Senior Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was in sheer aggression after his careless shot ended his stint at the crease too early during the IND vs BAN clash in the T20 World Cup 2024 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua. India's premium wrist spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, bagged his third wicket of the innings with the help of skipper Rohit Sharma's catch. 

Shakib aggressively slammed his bat, almost as if he wanted to break it after he was sent packing for just 11 runs off seven balls.

In the 14th over, Kuldeep tossed up it up around off, Shakib planted his front leg and swung hard at it while trying to smoke it down the ground however unfortunately got a leading edge due to the away turn. Rohit came in from the covers and ran back a few yards and successfully  took a good catch just outside the circle. 

However, previously during the first innings, Shakib created history as he became the first-ever player to take 50 wickets in the T20 mega-event. 

He would've hoped to carry his excellence with the bat too however, failed to slam a big one today.
