In a breakthrough moment for India during their clash against Bangladesh, Hardik Pandya shone bright as he bagged the first wicket of the innings. Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma could certainly not keep his aggression in wraps as he enthusiastically celebrated the wicket of Litton Das.

In the fourth over Pandya delivered an off-cutter on a length outside off. Litton dragged it into the leg side however got deceived by it as he failed to get it off the middle of the bat. Suryakumar Yadav, came running from the deep square leg ran in and took a fine catch with a dive forward. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma had some words in aggression as he knew the importance of this wicket. 

With this, Litton Das' stay at the crease was cut short as Pandya drew first blood as he walked back after his 13 off 10, the Indian all-rounder smiled as wide as he possibly could.

At the time of writing, Bangladesh are at 50/1 with Tanzid Hasan and Najmul Shanto out in the middle.
