The match between Southern Brave and London Spirit is underway at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The London Spirits, batting first, are struggling as they have lost five wickets for less than 60 runs. 

The biggest disappointment for the Spirit was Shemron Hetmyer's debut as the West Indies' star batter scored just five runs. Nonetheless, Andre Russell walked into bat and announced his arrival at England's premier T20 league in style. 

Notably, Russell emerged out of smoke in a never-seen-before entrance in cricket history. It felt like a Hollywood-level entry, but the fans present in the stadium enjoyed the entrance.

It is worth noting that Russell is making his debut for London Spirit. He was recently present in the USA, representing Los Angeles Knight Riders in the ongoing MLC season. 

Despite that, he started his innings with a four off the first delivery. At the time of writing this article, Russell has shown that he is unfazed by travel fatigue and has hit Jofra Archer for a six. 

Before this match, in the Women's Hundred, the same two teams locked horns against each other and in that game, the London Spirits won by six wickets.
