[Watch] After Smashing Six On Kingston Streets, SKY Completes 27-Ball Fifty With A Four

In the ongoing match between India and Afghanistan, Suryakumar Yadav proved why he is the No.1 ranked T20I batter, as the 33-year-old smashed a 27-ball fifty on a challenging wicket where other batters failed to score big. 

SKY came to bat when India were 54/2. Wickets kept falling at the other end, but Surya assured that he continued his aggressive approach. In his knock, SKY smashed five fours and three sixes. 

Talking about the power hitting, SKY stole the limelight after he hit a gigantic six off Fazalhaq Farooqi's bowling in the 17th over. On the fourth ball, Surya dispatched Farooqi's slower ball for a maximum that went out of the ground for an 89-metre six.

Soon after that six, Surya completed his fifty with a four but Farooqi had the last laugh as he got rid of Yadav on the last ball of his over. Surya went for another big hit but could not time the ball and it went straight up in the air which resulted in an easy catch for Mohammad Nabi. 

At the time of writing this article, India posted a total of 181 runs on the board.
