Usman Khan getting cleaned up by Abrar Ahmed (X.com)
Usman Khan, who had scores of 96, 106*, and 100* in Multan Sultans’ previous three fixtures in the PSL 2024, made little impact on Tuesday evening in their ongoing match against Quetta Gladiators in Karachi.
The 28-year-old made 21 off 23 balls after coming to bat first, and it was a magical delivery from Abrar Ahmed which ended his struggling knock.
Coming to bowl the 10th over of the innings, Abrar, who was dispatched for a nonchalant six by Rizwan earlier, bowled a length delivery around middle and off-stump. Usman did not anticipate that it was a quicker ball, and as a result, the ball went through the gate to rattle the stumps.
Usman was stunned at the crease for a while before slowly starting to walk back to the pavilion.

At the time of writing, Multan are still in an excellent position against Quetta. In a fixture where the winner will not get a place in the Qualifier 1 as Sultans' place in already confirmed alongside Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi , Rizwan & Co. have reached 120/2 at the end of 15 overs. Rizwan is still in the middle, on 63* off 42 balls, whereas Johnson Charles is batting on 22* off 15 deliveries.
