Zimbabwe is taking on Pakistan in the second T20I of the three match series. This match is being played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. 

Pakistan overhauled the hosts in the first match and took a 1-0 lead in the series. Thus this game stands out as an important one for Zimbabwe. They would be desperate to win this game and take the series to the decider, while Pakistan will be keen on winning the game and sealing off things here.

Zimbabwe Got Off To Steady Start

Notably, Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first in the game. It looked like a good decision as the two openers gave them a steady start. They flied to 37 in 4.3 overs without losing a wicket. It was looking like the stage is set for Zimbabwe to take the total to a formidable one.

Sikandar Raza Fails To Dig Zimbabwe Out Of Pressure

Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi picked up two wickets in quick succession and put Zimbabwe under pressure. It was at 37/2 that Sikandar Raza walked out into the middle. The home team would have hoped that their skipper will rescue them from the situation. However, Abbas Afridi soon accounted for him and put Zimbabwe deeper into the slump. 

On the second delivery of the seventh over, Afridi bowled a back of a length delivery at the off and middle stump line. Raza tried to defend the ball of the back foot but was beaten by the pace of the delivery and the lack of bounce on the ball. The ball sneaked through the gap between the bat and the ball and crashed into the stumps. Raza was left bedazzled as his stay in the middle ended.
