Sylhet Strikers fans had their money’s worth and then some as Jaker Ali unleashed pure chaos in the final over of their innings against the Rangpur Riders. With the scoreboard at 178/4, the Strikers needed a big finish, and Jaker delivered.

Jaker Ali Finished In Style With A Final-Over Blitz

The young gun smashed three huge sixes in the last over, taking the team to a monstrous 205/4. The stage was set, the pressure was on, and Akif Javed had the ball.

What followed was nothing short of a batter’s dream and a bowler’s nightmare. First up, Javed pitched one outside off. Jaker Ali stepped deep in his crease and sent it soaring over long-off for a six. The Sylhet crowd erupted like they were celebrating a festival. It was just the beginning.

The very next ball was a shorter one outside off. Did Jaker hesitate? Not even a little. He smashed it over wide long-on with utter disdain. Another six. By now, the Riders were shell-shocked, and the crowd was jumping out of their seats.

But Jaker wasn’t done yet. On the final ball of the over, he went big again. This time, a full delivery outside off was punished mercilessly. Jaker smashed it over wide long-off, and the ball disappeared into the night sky.

Jaker’s masterclass alongside Aaron Jones added 27 runs to the over and ensured the Strikers finished at a massive 205/4.
