In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 match at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, Australia were off to a strong start while chasing Bangladesh's sub-par total of 140/8 in 20 overs.

After winning the toss, Australia opted to bowl first and managed to restrict Bangladesh effectively. Chasing the target, Australian openers Travis Head and David Warner provided them a solid start, making full use of the powerplay by scoring freely around the ground.

Travis Head, in particular, looked in excellent form. In the 5th over of the Australian innings, he targeted Mustafizur Rahman with some aggressive shots. 

On one delivery, Mustafizur bowled a short ball outside off at 134.4 kph, which Head cut over backward point for a boundary. He then followed it up with an even more aggressive response. 

Mustafizur bowled a slower delivery right in the slot on the stumps at 108.3 kmph, and Head made room to smack it straight back over the bowler's head for a massive six, which sailed 89 meters and thudded into the sight screen.

With Head and Warner setting the pace, Australia are well-positioned to chase down the target with confidence. At the time of writing, Rain has interrupted the gameplay, with covers on the ground. Australia have managed to score 64/0 in 6.2 overs.
