Richa Ghosh has grabbed lot of eyeballs in recent times with her consistent power-hitting and now against United Arab Emirates in Women's Asia Cup 2024, she has once again shown her special power. 

She came out to bat with India in a bit of trouble at 106 for four in the 12th over. Richa though did not take any time to settle down and started smashing it all over the park right from the onset. She hit 12 fours and a six in her knock, and saved her best for the last over as she smashed five fours in a row to finish off the innings in style.

Harmanpreet Kaur was run out on the first ball of the final over and on the very next ball, Richa smashed the ball over mid off for a boundary. The next ball was slapped through the cover-point region for another boundary and it took her to a fifty as well. The next ball was cut away fiercely for a boundary again and the fifth ball was reverse-swept for a boundary.

The final ball was a short one and Richa Ghosh in belligerent form just pulled it away to sign off India's innings with absolute carnage.

It was her first fifty in T20Is and the knock has once again reaffirmed her status as one of the most dangerous wicketkeeper batters in Women's Cricket. She has also become the first wicketkeeper batter in Women's Asia Cup history and India also reached their first 200-plus score in Women's T20Is.
