Rilee Rossouw and Prabhsimran Singh put up a beautiful batting display on Sunday afternoon in Match 69 of IPL 2024 between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

During their swashbuckling batting, Nitish Reddy was at the receiving end, as the SRH all-rounder conceded 20 runs off his only over after Punjab's stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first.

Nitish had a horrible start, overstepping to begin the 12th over. Rossouw pulled the free-hit delivery over mid-wicket for four runs to launch the assault. Then Prabhsimran, just after Rossouw smashed him for a six, joined the party, smashing a superb maximum to make two sixes in the space of three deliveries, leaving Nitish helpless.

At the time of writing this, Punjab are 161/2 after 15.1 overs, with Rilee Rossouw going strong, batting on 36* off 18 balls. Prabhsimran has just lost his wicket after entertaining crowd with a flamboyant 45-ball 71, which had seven fours and four sixes.

It is important to note that SRH have to win this fixture to keep themselves in the Qualifer 1 in the playoffs.
