Yet another round of Vijay Hazare Trophy fixtures saw exhilarating performances from India stars throughout the country, where Devdutt Padikkal continued to strengthen his reputation with back-to-back centuries, while Rinku Singh once again justified his T20 World Cup selection with a quick-fire ton.

As the India ODI stars head back to the national camp after this round, here's how the prominent members of the India roster fared in VHT Round 2.

Kohli, Pant and Ishant set up a narrow Delhi win

India legend Virat Kohli's supreme form was once again on display in Bengaluru, as he scored a stylish 77(61), having reached a 29-ball-fifty to put Delhi in a promising position. Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant also showed his experience and maturity for 70(79) and guided the team to 254/9 in 50 overs.

While Gujarat looked on their way to chase down the score, Ishant Sharma stepped up with timely wickets of Hemang Patel and captain Chintan Gaja and got 2/28 (6) in their 7-wicket win. Prince Yadav also took 3/37 in his 8.4 overs.

Padikkal and Nair tons power Karnataka past Kerala

While batting first in the southern derby at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Kerala put up a target of 285 for Karnataka to chase, courtesy of Mohammed Azharuddeen's 84*(58), while Abhilash Shetty (3/59) and Shreyas Gopal (2/61) led Karnataka's bowling attack. In response, Karnataka lost Mayank Agarwal for just 1(7), before Padikkal and Karun Nair stitched a 223-run partnership for the second wicket.

Nair top-scored with 130* (130), with 14 fours, while Padikkal got out after scoring his second century of the tournament and ended with 124(137). Karnataka chased the target with 8 wickets left.

Rinku's power-packed century leads UP's big win

During the first innings of UP's clash against Chandigarh, Aryan Juyal and Dhruv Jurel once again shone after an early wicket. They added 134 (118) and 67 (57) to set a platform for captain Rinku Singh to fire towards the end, and the finisher did not disappoint. With the help of 11 fours and four sixes, Rinku scored 106(60) and set a target of a massive 368 for Chandigarh.

Manan Vohra was the highest scorer in the chase, with 32(20), as Chandigarh bundled for just 140, thanks to Zeeshan Ansari's 4/29 (7).

Krunal Pandya's all-round blitz steals the show vs Bengal

Having chased down 383 in the previous match vs Vidarbha, Bengal batted first on Friday and struggled to get going. While Abishek Porel scored 38 (35), alongside Anustup Majumdar's 47 (54), captain Abhimanyu Easwaran only got 5( 6), and they got all out for 205 in just 38.3 overs. Raj Limbani took a 5/65 and captain Krunal Pandya bowled a tight spell of 3/39 (10).

In response, three Baroda batters scored fifties, including Krunal's 57(63), and they won the match by 4 wickets, despite things getting tricky. Mohammed Shami finished with 1/42 (9) and Akash Deep with 1/46 (7.5).

Shardul Thakur and co. guide Mumbai to a win despite Rohit's duck

Batting first against Uttarakhand in Jaipur, Rohit Sharma fell for a golden duck off Devendra Bora. However, Musheer Khan's 55 (56), Sarafraz's 55 (49) and Hardik Tamore's 93*( 32) led them to 331/7 in 50 overs. Shams Mulani and Shardul Thakur also chipped in with 48 and 29.

Uttarakhand opener Yuvraj Choudhary got 96 (96) in the chase, alongside Jagadeesha Suchith's fifty, but Shardul's 2/28 (7) and Musheer's 2/57 (9) helped Mumbai win by 51 runs.
