Under tricky conditions, Suryavanshi failed to deliver the goods, and in the second innings, he was dismissed for a golden duck by England's Alex Green, as India were pushed on back-foot.
To put this into context, the RR opener also flopped in the first innings, as he scored a brisk 20 off 14 balls, but failed to carry the momentum as Green was the chief destroyer once again. The opener never looked comfortable as Green made him his bunny for the second time in the game.

The ODI series showcased the youngster's mettle in white-ball cricket.
A slow start to his red-ball career
Everyone expected Suryavanshi to replicate the white-ball form in Tests, but it turned out to be a slow start for the batter. In 4 innings, he could only score a solitary fifty as the English bowlers found a method to curtail his scoring-rate. In the 4 innings on this tour, Suryavanshi could only accumulate 90 runs.
