Unstoppable India U-19 Women Win T20 World Cup 2025; Watch Their Celebration

In a thrilling moment, the India U-19 Women's cricket team has emerged victorious in the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup by beating South Africa by 7 wickets in the thrilling finale held at Kuala Lumpur's Bayuemas Oval. Claiming the title for the second year running, the Women in Blue looked excited and jubilant as they ran towards one another on the field. This win helped India successfully defend the title won in the inaugural edition of the 2023 edition.

In the video shared by Star Sports India, the moment after grabbing the winning runs had been scored, the Indian cricket team erupted. Players ran across the field; hugging each other while waving the Indian flag. 

Celebrations For U-19 Stars


India Defeat South Africa 

South Africa, opting to bat first, managed to put up a competitive score of 125 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Kayla Reyneke was the best batter for her side with a gritty 45-run knock. India's bowling attack, led by Vaishnavi Sharma and Aayushi Shukla, applied consistent pressure. Sharma continued her good form and took 3 wickets for 20 runs, while Shukla supported with figures of 2 for 25.

In reply, India's openers Kamalini and  Trisha laid a good platform with a 60-run partnership. Kamalini scored at a brisk rate of 35 off 28 balls, while Trisha added 40 runs off 32 deliveries. After her dismissal, skipper Niki Prasad ensured that her team crossed the target by scoring an unbeaten 30 runs. India chased down the target in 18.4 overs and were 126 for 3.
