The 24th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) will be played between Siechem Madurai Panthers and Lyca Kovai Kings on Sunday (July 2) at Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli.

Siechem Madurai Panthers encountered a rough and tough start to their TNPL campaign with two consecutive defeats, but their determination shone through as they clinched three wins on the trot in the following matches.

With three wins and two losses so far, the Madurai Panthers currently occupy the fourth spot in the league standings with six points. Buoyed by a thumping seven-wicket win over Ba11sy Trichy, they are looking to extend their winning streak.

Lyca Kovai Kings, on the other hand, have experienced smooth sailing in the tournament, winning five out of six matches played. Currently sitting at the helm of the table, they have already qualified for the playoffs. 

They delivered a statement of intent with a resounding 79-run victory over Salem Spartans in their most recent fixture. With a streak of four consecutive wins, all eyes will be on whether they can extend it to five in a row.
