All-rounders Annabel Sutherland and Ashleigh Gardner came to the fore with both bat and ball for the defending champions to render Tammy Beaumont’s fighting 78 in vain.

Sutherland whacked 98* off 112 balls with nine boundaries and a six, while Gardner bludgeoned 104* from just 73 deliveries with 16 elegant boundaries to take Australia Women home in just 40.3 overs with six wickets intact.
