Rohit Sharma is considered as one of the top batters in the world currently. He has scored truckloads of runs for not only India but also for MI over the years. His ability to clear the fence with utmost ease is what makes him special and he is fondly called - 'Hitman' for his big-hitting abilities.

Now, in the game against GT at the Wankhede Stadium, Rohit Sharma has reached another milestone which shows his class as a batter. He is now just the second player after Kieron Pollard to hit 200 sixes for MI and played a delightful pick-up shot over deep square leg off the bowling of Mohit Sharma to reach the landmark of 200 sixes.

He also became the player with second-most sixes in the IPL as he went past AB de Villiers tally of 251 sixes in the IPL.  Talking about the MI-GT game, Mumbai Indians have started off with a bang and have smashed 51 runs in 5 overs with Rohit batting on 28 off 15 balls and Ishan Kishan batting on 22 off 15 balls.

Most sixes in IPL history:

 Chris Gayle - 357 (141 innings)

Rohit Sharma - 252* (234 innings)

AB De Villiers - 251 (170 innings)
