The Super Smash 2025/26 season, New Zealand’s premier domestic T20 competition, will be played from December 26, 2025, to January 31, 2026, featuring both men’s and women’s tournaments. 

In total, six teams will take part in the competition, with 32 matches to be played in each tournament, most of them as double-headers.

The tournament will follow a double round-robin format, where each team faces the others twice in the league stage. The top team in the points table will qualify directly for the Grand Final, while the second and third-placed teams will battle it out in the Elimination Final for the remaining spot.

Super Smash 2025-26: Venues

The Super Smash 2025-26 will be played across multiple venues over New Zealand. The venues hosting the tournament are, Alexandra, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Mount Maunganui, Napier, Nelson, Palmerston North and Wellington.

The season will open with a clash between Northern Knights and Auckland Aces at Seddon Park in Hamilton. The Elimination Final and the Grand Final will be held at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
