Sunil Narine is one of the legends of T20 cricket. He made his name as a mystery spinner while playing for KKR in IPL 2012, and has since played a big role in their success over the years. He has been effective both with the bat and the ball, and he displayed that again in the game against DC with contributions in both the departments.

He scored 27 from 16 balls, and then with the ball, delivered a match-winning performance with three crucial wickets. He took his wicket tally for KKR to 208 and equalled Samit Patel's wickets for Nottinghamshire. He is now the joint-highest wicket-taker for any team in Men's T20 cricket.

KKR Keep Playoffs Hopes Alive With Win Against DC
In the game against DC, Sunil Narine also led KKR after Ajinkya Rahane injured himself in the 12th over. DC looked set to chase down the target at one point in time, but Narine got three big wickets of Axar Patel, Tristan Stubbs and Faf du Plessis to bring his team back in the game. Eventually, KKR won the game by 14 runs and kept their playoff hopes alive, and Narine once again has shown his importance in the KKR line-up.
