The toss between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals was won by visitor's skipper Sanju Samson who opted to bowl first at the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Dharamshala. However, more than the outcome, the talk was about how Samson called it before actually saying it to the commentator.

So, Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan flipped the coin and it fell in Rajasthan's favour with Samson telling the result to match referee Pankaj Dharmani as he spoke with him in Hindi.

Sanju said, "Sir ji, Ball Dalenge" after the toss to the referee which translates to "Sir, we'll have a bowl" and was immediately picked by commentator Mpumelelo Pommie Mbangwa.

Then, he held the microphone and revealed why he choose to do so alongside changes they are making for this game. Ravichandran Ashwin suffered a back spasm and will be missing out with Trent Boult and Joe Root swapped in place of each other.

"We will bowl first. Looking at the ground dimensions and the wicket we want to chase here. For the first thing, we have to win the game and then see how it goes. We have to be good at forgetting things and forget about the last game. We are completely focused on what is ahead of us. Back to the basics and respect the opponents that we are playing. Stick to the basics. We have a few changes and are last-minute changes just before the arrival. R Ashwin misses out due to back spasm and Adam Zampa, played the last game but not sure whether he is there or not."   

The importance of this match is way too much for both sides as losing this encounter will end their campaign straightway.
