It is time for a knockout game at the beautiful HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala as Punjab Kings (PBKS) take on Rajasthan Royals (RR). Both teams need to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive and Sanju Samson, the RR skipper has started well by winning the toss.

He has decided to bowl first which gives them a great opportunity to finish off the chase as quickly as possible and they would also know the exact equation required to surpass RCB's net run-rate.

Rajasthan Royals have made some big changes as Ashwin and Root are out of the XI while Riyan Parag and Navdeep Saini have made their way back into the team. Ashwin is out because of a back spasm. Also, KM Asif misses out in this game too.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have not made any changes to their XI, and Shikhar Dhawan, the skipper of PBKS, said that he just wants his team to enjoy this game. PBKS need to win by a very big margin as their net run-rate is currently negative, while RR do have a comparatively better chance to get past RCB in the net run-rate race.

Here is what Two Captains said:

Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "We will bowl first. Looking at the ground dimensions and the wicket we want to chase here. For the first thing, we have to win the game and then see how it goes. We have to be good at forgetting things and forget about the last game. We are completely focused on what is ahead of us. Back to the basics and respect the opponents that we are playing. Stick to the basics. We have a few changes and are last-minute changes just before the arrival. R Ashwin misses out due to back spasm and Adam Zampa, played the last game but not sure whether he is there or not."

Shikhar Dhawan (Punjab Kings Captain): "No, we don't mind batting first. The dew kept the same in the last game so it's gonna be a good batting wicket. We just talked about coming here and enjoying the process. Try to end the tournament on a high. We will try and take more wickets in the powerplay. That's where we need to improve on. We have been pretty consistent with our batting. We have no changes."
