GT bowler Mohammed Siraj dominated his former team, RCB at their home ground M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He picked up two big wickets of Phil Salt and Devdutt Padikkal and earned fans’ praise on social media.

RCB hosted GT in the 14th match of the IPL 2025 season. The high-voltage clash pitted Siraj against his former team, RCB. After seven seasons with the Bengaluru-based franchise, the pacer was released into the mega auction pool.

Gujarat Titans won the bid to secure his services for IPL 2025. Moreover, the fast bowler had his perfect redemption moment as he dominated RCB batters on their own turf.

Mohammed Siraj’s Redemption At Chinnaswamy Moves Fans

RCB were asked to bat first but Mohammed Siraj spoiled their start in the powerplay to dismiss Devdutt Padikkal. Padikkal went for an aggressive shot, but Siraj’s sharp nip-in delivery completely outfoxed him, sending the off-stump cartwheeling. The celebration was just as fiery as Siraj pulled off his signature Siu move.

Moreover, Siraj also cleaned up Phil Salt. He bowled a rapid 144 kph thunderbolt, and Salt’s aggressive intent backfired as he was beaten by sheer pace and before he could even react, his stumps were shattered.

As the pacer enjoyed his breakthroughs, fans on social media hailed his redemption at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium which used to be his home ground for 7 years.

That being said, RCB fell into a deep mess after Siraj’s crucial blows. At the end of the first 9 overs, they had 66 runs on the board at the loss of 4 big wickets of Kohli, Salt, Padikkal and captain Rajat Patidar.
