Shubman Gill - Wriddiman Saha Records Highest-Ever Partnership For Gujarat Titans

In what was one of the most high-voltage partnerships of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Gujarat Titans' Wriddiman Saha and Shubman Gill recorded a massive 142-run partnership for the first wicket against Lucknow Super Giants during the ongoing match happening in Ahmedabad.

The dynamic duo were maginificent right from the start as they thumped 78 runs in the powerplay courtesy of their thunderous hitting.

This stand for 142 runs by the Titans was the highest for them not just for the first wicket but any wicket as their previous best was 106* runs by skipper Hardik Pandya and David Miller for fourth wicket against Rajasthan Royals last year at Eden Gardens.

In the end, Saha played a fine hand with 81 from 43 balls smashing ten fours and four sixes whereas Gill thumped 94 and carried his bat after facing 51 deliveries with two fours and seven sixes to propell their side to 227 in the end.
