Bangladesh have locked horns against Netherlands in their third group-stage game on June 13 at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown. The Tigers are coming after a heartbreaking defeat against South Africa and eyeing a win that would require a 100% effort from all players against the well-balanced Netherlands.
Meanwhile, a few pictures from the training session ahead of the match went viral, where the fans were left worried after they spotted former skipper, Shakib Al Hasan, wearing a neck brace.

The reports stated that there is nothing to worry and Shakib wore a neck brace as a precautionary measure and he even participated in training sessions with the brace on. Further, skipper Najmul Shanto confirmed that Shakib is fit to play and is also a part of the playing XI against the Netherlands.
Notably, Shakib has been hit by injuries in the recent past, as he first, had issues in his eye, which he faced during the 2023 World Cup. Later he fractured his left index finger. The veteran Bangladeshi is yet to fire in this T20 World Cup.
