Mumbai Indians (MI) end their 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign tonight against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Indian captain, Rohit Sharma was seen signing an autograph for MI's overseas star Romario Shepherd.

During LSG's batting, the Caribbean who is neither named in the MI XI nor the subs was seen approaching the ex-MI skipper to ask him for an autograph as a souvenir from the IPL 2024. Rohit Sharma was also clearly gracious enough to sign the autograph for him.

The opener who didn't start the match has been named among the substitutes and is expected to come in to bat in the second innings like he has been used in the last few matches. In the 13 innings of the season, he has scored 349 runs at the strike rate of 145.4 while also scoring a century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which unfortunately came in a losing cause.

Shepherd has scored 56 runs in 4 innings at a strike rate of 280 and took one wicket. He had a player of the match performance against Delhi Capitals (DC) where he scored 39*(10) and 1/54 in their 29-run win.

Mumbai Indians, unfortunately, crashed out of the season with just 8 points to their name coming into the final game of their season.
