Day 3 of the second Test between India and West Indies started with the visitors needing 179 runs on the board to avoid a follow-on. They are struggling to keep up as the match is currently live and are having hiccups as Kuldeep Yadav stands as their nightmare. 

Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the most prolific bowlers in the Indian team in recent times, especially with his exploits in the Asia Cup. Now, he is producing his magic in the Test format as well. 

Kuldeep Yadav bags three early on Day 3

In the second Test, Kuldeep Yadav scalped four wickets, with three coming on Day 3 itself. It had only been a few hours since the play began in the morning, and Kuldeep already had four wickets in his pocket. After Kuldeep and Bumrah got the game underway, Kuldeep broke through with Shai Hope's wicket and soon after dismissed Tevin Imlach.

Kuldeep then struck again, removing Justin Greaves and leaving West Indies struggling at 174/7. Having already bagged four wickets in the first innings, he is now in contention to be the wrecker-in-chief for India.

With experts and commentators showering praise on Kuldeep’s all-format adaptability and versatility to bowl in every condition, netizens also took to social media to praise Kuldeep’s heroic performance.

At the lunch break, West Indies stood at 217 for 8 wickets at the end of 72 overs. They currently trail by 301 runs and need 102 more to avoid the follow-on. With Khary Pierre and Anderson Phillip at the crease, the follow-on seems unavoidable. However, the Caribbeans will try their best to take the game as far as possible.
