Radha Yadav delivered a brilliant performance as India Women defeated England Women by six wickets in the 4th T20I at Old Trafford, Manchester, to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. This win gave India their first-ever T20I series victory on English soil, a huge moment in Indian women’s cricket history.

Radha Yadav’s Dream Spell Restricts England To 126

Batting first, England Women were in trouble. The pitch looked slow, and India’s spinners made the most of it. Radha Yadav and Shree Charani were outstanding, picking up two wickets each and keeping the pressure on the England batters throughout.

England had a poor middle phase, going 56 balls without hitting a boundary. Their innings only got some momentum towards the end thanks to Sophie Ecclestone, who was playing her 100th T20I. She hit two sixes and a four in the last couple of overs to take England to a modest total of 126.

Radha Yadav owned the night with a brilliant spell of 2/15, which later won her the man of the match award.

Shafali Verma’s Flair Guides India To Comfortable Series Win

India’s reply started in style with Shafali Verma smashing 31 off 23 balls and Smriti Mandhana scoring 32. The duo added 56 runs for the first wicket, making the chase easy. Even though both openers got out before finishing the job, Jemimah Rodrigues (27) and Harmanpreet Kaur (20)* made sure there were no hiccups. Rodrigues hit the winning runs with a cheeky paddle shot.

India Women pursued the low target of 127 runs in 17 overs and took the game by 6 wickets to take the series 3-1.

This match was special for Radha Yadav, who not only bowled superbly but also pulled off a sharp catch to get out Sophia Dunkley. Her intelligent bowling and active fielding had a huge contribution to India's victory.
