Pakistan Women will be up against Sri Lanka Women in the second semi-final match of the Women's Asia Cup 2022 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on Thursday, October 13.
Pakistan finished the league stage with a thumping five wickets victory over Sri Lanka. Their bowlers wreaked absolute havoc and bowled out Sri Lanka for 112 runs in 18.5 overs while bowling first.
In the second half of the game, Pakistan chased down the target in just 18.5 overs with Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz impressing with the bat. With five wins from six games, Pakistan wrapped up at the second position in the league table.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, won four of their six league stage matches and finished in the third spot on the leaderboard. They will look to avenge their previous loss against Pakistan, with Harshitha Madavi and Chamari Athapaththu being key to their fortunes.
