The third T20I between India and Sri Lanka at the Pallekele international stadium is likely to have a delayed start with rain pouring down in the city, and covers firmly on at the stadium.
The entire ground has been covered and it is highly likely that just like the second T20I, this game would also be a rain-curtailed encounter. The drainage system though is pretty good at the Pallekele stadium, and once the rain stops, we can expect the game to start soon unless some major damage is done to the outfield.

This is the last game of the series, and India have taken an unassailable lead with a win in the first two games and would be looking to cap off the series with a high. Sri Lanka though have not played bad cricket, and just have self-exploded with the bat in both games which has cost them big time.
Latest update - Rain has stopped and covers are coming off in Pallekele. The toss is delayed and the start of the game is also likely to be delayed, but if it doesn't rain now, we will most likely have a full 20-over-per-side game.
