A much-anticipated series decider of the five-match T20I series will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Monday, April 24. The last match was a washout.


Team Preview

Pakistan

Having won two of the four matches played, Pakistan are leading the series. In the rain-curtailed affair, Imad Wasim was the standout performer with the ball. The left-arm spinner returned with exceptional figures of 3-19 in his four overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took a wicket each. 

With the series at stake, the Men in Green must bring their A-game to the forefront in order to crush New Zealand and claim the series 3-1. 

New Zealand

After being sent to bat first, New Zealand were 164/5 in 18.5 overs before the rain spoiled the party. Mark Chapman and opener Chad Bowes were the star performers with the bat as both of them scored half-centuries. Mark Chapman top-scored with his unbeaten knock of 71 from 42 balls. His knock was laced with 10 boundaries and a six. Chad Bowes struck seven fours and a maximum on his way to 38-ball 54. 

Heading into this game, New Zealand would want to see their seasoned players step up so that they can level the series.
