The 2025 Shpageeza T20 final delivered a thriller as Amo Sharks chased down a modest target with clinical precision, powered by Azmatullah Omarzai's game-changing spell and a composed unbeaten fifty from Hassan Eisakhil.

The match swung decisively in the Sharks' favour during two key phases – Omarzai's four-wicket demolition job that restricted Mis-e-Ainak Knights to 121, and Eisakhil's ice-cool finish that erased any late jitters. So, let's take a look at how the 2024 defending champions bagged the trophy for the second time.

Omarzai's Assault Leaves The Knights In Tatters

The Knights' innings never gained momentum after Azmatullah Omarzai's decisive strikes. The Afghan all-rounder and Amo Sharks skipper, leading the attack, removed the dangerous Rahmanullah Gurbaz (48 off 21) just as the opener threatened to take the game away after the Knights were put to bat first.

His clever variations then dismantled the middle order, including the crucial scalps of Sohail Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Omarzai's 4/21 in 3.2 overs, combined with Abdullah Ahmadzai's 3/21, left the Knights bundled out in just 16.2 overs, seeing a collapse of 7 wickets for 46 runs after being 75/3 at one stage.

Sharks Finish Chase With Ease To Lift 2025 Title

The Amo Sharks' chase began briskly before a brief stutter at 75/2, but Eisakhil (50 off 34) and Mohammad Ishaq (25 off 13) ensured no late drama. Eisakhil anchored the innings with a mix of aggressive strokeplay and sharp running, while Ishaq provided the final flourish with a couple of sixes and boundaries in the 10th and 12th over. The winning moment came fittingly in style as Ishaq launched Farmanullah Safi over long-on to seal the title with 7.2 overs to spare.

Moreover, Omarzai, the skipper, orchestrated the victory with his incisive bowling, but it was also Eisakhil’s unbeaten half-century that epitomised the Sharks' dominance. The Knights, despite Gurbaz's early fireworks, were left ruing their batting implosion against Amo Shark's precision.
