Sunrisers Hyderabad have become the 3rd team to crash out of IPL 2025. Notably, rain played a spoil-sport in the do-or-die game for the Men in Orange and now with the abandoned match at the Rajiv Gandhi international stadium, the Pat Cummins-led side are out of the IPL.

Notably, SRH hosted DC at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and the rain started pouring right after the first innings. The cut-off time for a five-over match was 11:40, but the rain failed to stop in time and now with just 7 points in 11 matches, SRH can at best reach 13 points.

A Season To Forget For Sunrisers Hyderabad

It has been a disastrous season for IPL 2024 finalists as SRH only managed to collect 7 points in 11 matches. Notably, SRH's last win was against Chennai Super Kings. For them, their batters failed to put on a show as they failed to replicate their IPL 2024 show.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma struggled for consistency, while Ishan Kishan also struggled for runs despite a century. Talking about the recently abandoned match, Hyderabad were the favourites to win, but the rain doused the hopes. Meanwhile, the groundstaff tried their best to clear the ground for play, but the umpires deemed the stadium to be unfit for the players as there were puddles all across the ground and superstoppers too failed.
