Mustafizur Rahman Goes Level With Shakib Al Hasan For Most T20I Wickets For Bangladesh

In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Mustafizur Rahman stole the limelight with his brilliant spell. The left-arm seamer rattled the Sri Lankan batters and took a three-wicket haul.

With the three scalps, the left-arm seamer equalled Bangladesh legend Shakib Al Hasan's feat for most T20I wickets for The Tigers. Rehman took his wickets tally to 149 scalps, equalling the left-arm seamer. Fizz registered the figures of 3/20 in his four overs.

Talking about the ongoing match, Fizz's spell helped Bangladesh put some breaks to Sri Lanka's scoring rate and the Island Nation eventually put 168 runs on the board. Notably, The Tigers would look to avenge their earlier defeat in the group-stage, where the Island Nation beat them by six wickets.
