The fight for the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2023 honours is now boiled down to two teams, Ratnagiri Jets and Kolhapur Tuskers. The two topped the points table after the group stage, and secured high-pressure wins in the playoffs. Fittingly, both Jets and Tuskers will now collide in the MPL 2023 title clash on June 29 in Pune.

Ratnagiri Jets registered four wins and just one defeat from their five league fixtures. They also defeated the Tuskers in their last meeting, i.e., the first qualifier, and deservingly punched their tickets for the tournament final.

Kolhapur Tuskers, on the other hand, stood second on the points table, despite claiming the same number of wins as the Jets. They held a slightly inferior net run-rate in comparison, and they were forced to use their top-2 finish ticket by enforcing a second qualifier for themselves before the final.
