Riding on Arshin Kulkarni's half-century and crucial contributions from Harshad Khadiwale and Dhanraj Shinde, ENT posted a massive total of 195 on the board. Meanwhile, Akshay Waikar's sensational spell helped them restrict CSK to 152, five runs short of their DLS target. 

On contrary, Solapur Royals had a disastrous start to their inaugural MPL journey, incurring a heavy five-wicket defeat to Ratnagiri Jets in their opening fixture. Despite the valiant efforts from Rushabh Rathod and Atharva Kale, the Royals could manage a sub-par 145, which the Jets chased successfully, thanks to useful knocks from Tushar Shrivastav and Rohit Patil. So, moving on to this game, the Royals would like their batters to step up and the bowlers to strike at crucial junctures.
