Mitchell Starc Spotted At Sharjah Stadium To Support Wife Alyssa Healy In Women's T20 World Cup 2024

On Saturday, October 5, Australia women started their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign as the Alyssa Healy-led side locked horns against Sri Lanka at Sharjah Stadium in UAE.  It was a comfortable win for the Women In Yellow as they beat the Island Nation by six wickets to start their campaign on a high. 

The fans were missing from the stands because of the scorching heat, but Australia had a special supporter as star bowler, and Alyssa Healy's husband Mitchell Starc was in attendance.

Mitchell Starc Comes To Support Alyssa Healy

Several pictures flouted on the internet of Starc supporting his wife and the Australian team. It is not the first time Starc was in attendance to support his wife as he has previously also attended WPL's match donning UP Warriorz shirt in support of Healy, who represents The Warriorz In WPL.

Talking about the recently concluded match, it was an easy game for the Women in Yellow, as they, fielding first, restricted the Island Nation to just 92 runs in 20 overs. Chasing a small target, the Women in Yellow lost three quick wickets, but Beth Mooney stayed at the crease and scored the winning runs.

Although, it was a disappointing game for the Australian skipper and keeper as she got out for just 4 (3), which featured a solitary four. Her stumps were rattled by Prabodhani on the fourth ball of the first over of the second innings.
