The start of the much-awaited IPL 2025 qualifier two between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium has been delayed due to rain. Rain threat loomed over the stadium before the start of the match and the rain started to pour right after the toss.

The rain increased with time and at the time of writing this article, it is raining cats and dogs in Ahmedabad. The fans are worried about the possibility of a full-match and one question which is in everyone's mind is - What is the cut-off time for a full 20-over match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. 

What Is The Cut-Off Time For A Full 20-Over Match between MI & PBKS?

The IPL governing body has amended the rules slightly for the remaining games in the IPL and now there is an extended 120 minute window for a game to be completed. Further, the cut-off time for a full 20-over match is 9:30 pm. If the game doesn't start by 9:30 pm, then we will start losing overs.

At present, it is a positive sign for the fans as the rain has stopped and the covers are likely to be taken in a while. The good news is that the toss has already taken place and Mumbai Indians will bat first.
