Reece Topley Makes His MI Debut After Richard Glesson's Injury
The five-time champions, MI have made one change with Reece Topley included in the place of Richard Glesson. He has got his chance due to a niggle to Glesson while Deepak Chahar is also injured.
This is the third season where Reece Topley will play a game in IPL. In the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Topley played for RCB. A solitary game in the 2023 edition while four in the next. He has picked five wickets in those games.

He is an experienced bowler with 230 wickets in the shortest format and has been successful at the international level for England as well. He is known for his ability to swing the new ball, and can be effective in the Qualifier 2 with overcast conditions on offer.
Mumbai Indians last played Qualifier 2 in the 2023 season, but could not qualify for the final. They have won five trophies though, and would be itching to get their hands back on it, after a gap of five seasons. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have a chance to make it to their first final since the 2014 season. There is rain around though, and it would be interesting to see how both teams go about their business.
