Kuldip Yadav comes in place of Shimron Hetmyer as Impact Player Versus CSK

After putting up 202 on the board courtesy of Devdutt Padikkal who thumped a wonderful 77, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have replaced Shimron Hetmyer with pacer Kuldip Yadav for the second have of the match. This comes after Hetmyer couldn't much with 10-ball 8 as he was dismissed by Maheesh Theekshana knocking his stump.

Hetmyer has been one of the key batters for RR in this season with many of the last over finishes. In the eight matches he has batted in, the southpaw has struck 196 runs at a strike rate of 160 whereas he averages 49.

The West Indian batter has been in fine form and is a crucial member of the Rajasthan side because of the role he plays.

However, on the other hand, Kuldip is a left-arm medium pacer who plays for Delhi. Making his debut back in 2021 for RR only, he had to wait two years for another opportunity as this will be his second game in the IPL.

Yadav has been brought in to fill the big shows of Trent Boult as the Kiwi pacer is suffering from a hamstring injury which was announced before this game.

By the end of two overs, CSK are 12 for no loss with openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway on field.
