One of the shocking news is coming from the Delhi Capitals' (DC) camp in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where a player is apparently reported to the BCCI authorities for misbehaving with a woman in an after-match celebratory party.
However, no names have come to light but it is understood that the accused player is a foreign player.
As per an ANI report, the BCCI is adamant towards taking a strict action, if the accused is found guilty. And if at fault then the player's IPL contract will be immediately terminated, and he will be sent home.
Moreover, the side has now imposed sanctions and penalties on players to restrict any further shameful activities that could jeopardise their image in and outside the cricketing circle.
IPL has been the household of controversies in the past as well with many of the foreign and Indian players being involved in some of the biggest scandals that shook the league.
On one occasion, former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Luke Pomersbach was accused of molesting a woman back in 2012 edition of the league.
Talking about this edition, DC are last on the table with just two victories from seven matches as they next feature in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 29th April.
