Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the fourth match of the IPL 2025 season, set to be played in Visakhapatnam. This exciting contest marks the season opener for both teams, with a thrilling clash on the cards. In a significant development, DC captain Axar Patel won the toss and opted to bowl first. 

It is important to mention that Shardul Thakur replaces Mohsin Khan in the squad after the left-arm pacer was ruled out of IPL 2025 due to an injury.

Axar Patel (Delhi Capitals Captain): "We are going to bowl first. There will be a dew factor later on in the night. So, we don't want to take any risk. So, we are bowling first. Both of us know a lot about each other. He knows some of my tricks, I know a few of his as well. I have been playing here for DC for more than 6 years. Yeah, dew will come in. That is why I have decided to bowl first. 

Rishabh Pant (Lucknow Super Giants Captain): "I think we would have bowled first as well. But it is a good wicket and we can still bat good. Definitely, a lot of emotions with DC. Everyone knows that I have played all my life with DC. The preparation has been good. Everyone have prepared well and are looking forward to this game. Our overseas players are Marsh, Markram, Pooran and Miller."
