KKR vs RR: Trent Boult Returns as RR Opt To Bowl First

In a significant development, Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and decided to bat first in their twelfth group-stage encounter of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. Also, fortunately, Trent Boult has recovered from the injury he sustained earlier this season and he will feature for the Royals tonight.
At toss, RR skipper Sanju Samson explained that they would deviate from their usual tactic and bowl first, considering the trueness of the surface.
"We would like to bowl here. I think it's a very long tournament. The strengths and weaknesses change. As of now, according to the conditions and keeping the opposition in mind, we will bowl first. We have to couple of changes. Trent Boult and KM Asif come in place of Kuldip Yadav and M Ashwin. You definitely have to understand the nature of the tournament. Very tough game for the bowlers."
Meanwhile, KKR captain Nitish Rana revealed that they have replaced Vaibhav Arora with Anukul Roy, expecting the surface to assist spinners later in the evening.
"Yes sir getting the pitch we want. The aim is to get more points and start well. New day and we are taking it one game at a time. Vaibhav Arora makes way for Anukul Roy. Yes, the pitch is dry and yesterday was overcast. Wanting to add depth in the batting. Haven't though about any specific score and we will still aim for 170+."
