Team Preview
Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians have had quite a turn around this season. From being at No.7 to jumping at the third spot on the points table, they have turned their fate around. Although skipper Rohit Sharma has not been in the best form this season, with only one half century and a little over 185 runs in the 11 matches the team has played so far, he needs to step it up for his team to move ahead in the tournament.
Suryakumar Yadav, who had a disastrous first five innings at the start of this season has finally started to take things in full control. In the last 6 innings SKY has hit 4 half centuries and evidently proved that he is back; with nothing but business in mind. MI opener and wicketkeeper, Ishan Kishan has also had a rocky sail however he has managed to pull-through and score runs for the team consistently in the last few innings.
The bowlers from MI have been a significant issue as they have not been able to take wickets in the initial overs of the game and have also given away too many runs towards the conclusion of the match. Although MI's second name is the chase masters, they might want to set up a vicious bowling attack right from the beginning.
Gujarat Titans
At present, Gujarat Titans, hold the top position in the points table with 16 points, and are on the verge of securing their place in the playoffs of this season's IPL. In their last match against Lucknow Super Giants they exhibited an impressive performance and emerged victorious.
The credit for GT's successful season can be attributed to their formidable batting line-up and exceptional bowling prowess. They have time and again backed each other.
Whether its the opening batsmen Wriddhiman Saha or Shubman Gill, outstanding finisher Rahul Tewatia or bowlers Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma and Shami they have all helped one another in securing each and every win this season.

Prediction
In the history of the IPL, these two teams have only played against each other twice, with each team securing a victory in one match. While, GT has time and again proven to be a tough nut to crack and Mumbai Indians determined to make it to the playoffs, this is undeniably going to be an intense clash.
The chances of Gujarat Titans securing yet another victory against the home team seems like a realistic assumption based on the performances of both the teams this season.
