Rovman Powell has won an important toss at the Kensington Oval and has decided to bowl first in the 18th match of CPL 2024. The toss got delayed by 35 minutes, but no overs have been lost and Barbados Royals would be hoping to take advantage of the moisture on the pitch. The visitors have made three changes to their squad with Odean Smith, Ryan John and Joshua Da Silva back in the side.

The home side, on the other hand, have brought in Nyeem Young in place of Keshav Maharaj and Rahkeem Cornwall after missing the last game is back as well. The players missing out from this game from St Kitts' XI are Veerasammy Permaul, Josh Clarkson and Johann Layne.

St Kitts And Nevis Patriots Need Strong Batting Performance

So, both teams have made changes to their XI, but the pressure will be on Andre Fletcher and company to make this game count and get their campaign back on the track. They would need to start well though, and put a big total on the board, something which they have not been able to do this season. They have powerful batters in their team too, and it just about playing fearless cricket at the top of the order.

For Barbados Royals, this is an opportunity to seal a playoffs spot. They have dominated this season so far, and with this being the last game at home, Powell and co. would be looking to sign off on a high.
