A dazzling new star has emerged from Kerala's cricket scene. Ahammed Imran, born in the year 2006, has made a big splash with two successive big-bash performances in the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025.

KCL season 2 has taken the limelight rather quickly, and young stars are at centre stage to show their raw talent and undeterred passion. One such star is 19-year-old Imran.

Ahammed Imran Smashes Flamboyant Hundred In KCL S2

In the very initial game of Thrissur Titans, opening batsman Ahammed Imran scored a brilliant 61 off just 44 balls, grabbing attention with his aggressive batting style.

But he wasn’t done yet. In the second game, he went even bigger, scoring a century off 55 balls against Calicut Globstars, becoming the first cricketer in KCL 2025 to score a hundred. Any cricketer would consider this a remarkable achievement, but the fact he is still a teenager makes it all the more special.

Imran, 19, hails from Trivandrum and plays as a talented all-rounder, which means he’s as comfortable with the ball as he is with the bat. He bats left-handed and bowls right-arm off-break.

Representing teams like the Thrissur Titans in KCL and competing for Kerala U-19, he is already making his presence felt in Kerala's cricket circuit. 

That being said, his brilliant 100 against the Globstars, which included 11 fours and 5 sixes, guided the Titans to a par total of 209/5 in the first inning.

Imran Becomes Leading Run-Scorer Of KCL 2025

Meanwhile, after that 100, Ahammed Imran has become the leading run-scorer of the KCL 2025 season with 161 runs in 2 games. He is followed by Vathsal Govind (104 runs) and Vinoop Manoharan (80 runs). If Imran manages to continue his dream form, he will likely top the charts by the end of the season and rise the ranks quickly in Kerala Cricket.
