GT's skipper Hardik Pandya before DC clash (Twitter)
At Ahmedabad on Tuesday, Gujarat Titans lost the toss to David Warner's Delhi Capitals, who opted to bat first against the table-toppers. Additionally, Player of the Match from last game, Mitchell Marsh, has been replaced by Rilee Rossouw, as the all-rounder will miss the encounter due to illness. Meanwhile, the Titans haven't done any rejigging to their Starting XI and gone with their winning composition.
In other notable updates, GT's prime opener Shubman Gill is still a part of the Impact Player substitutes, alongside Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Srikar Bharat, Sai Sudharsan and Shivam Mavi.
It is understood that Gill is still recovering from his finger injury; thus, Gujarat aren't willing to take a risk with his fielding, meaning Gill will probably come in as Impact Player as GT have fielded just one opener in their Starting XI.
Meanwhile, the Capitals have taken a punt of bringing Khaleel Ahmed to their Impact subs. Whereas Lalit Yadav, Yash Dhull, Praveen Dubey and Abishek Porel are the four other options to choose from.
