But before diving into the head-to-head record of the two, let us see how these two teams have fared in IPL 2023 so far.

Lucknow Super Giants are going through a decent tournament, as they have played nine matches with five victories and four defeats. With ten points and a positive net run rate of 0.639, they are placed in the third position in the table. Notably, the Super Giants reached the Playoffs in their maiden campaign in the 2022 edition.

Last Match: KL Rahul's LSG played their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at home on a Monday night, and they suffered an embarrassing loss in a low-scoring encounter.

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat first on a slow and sluggish surface. He led his side from the front, scoring 44 off 40 with one four and a maximum. His opening partner Virat Kohli amassed 31 off 30 as the visitors reached 126/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Naveen-ul-Haq was the pick of the bowlers for the home side for figures of 3/30 (4).

In reply, LSG's innings never got going as they got bundled out cheaply for just 108 in 19.5 overs. Rahul's injured worsened the case as he came in to bat at no.11. He scored 0 while K Gowtham top-scored for his side with his innings of 23. Josh Hazlewood and Karn Sharma picked up two wickets apiece as RCB won the game by 18 runs.
