The 12th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season will see the mega clash between the two most celebrated teams- Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings- at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This fixture is paramount for Mumbai Indians, who had an abysmal start to their IPL 2023 campaign, incurring a heavy eight-wicket defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

Meanwhile, this could be a memorable game for the MI captain Rohit Sharma, who is on the verge of attaining multiple milestones. While this will be Sharma's 150th game as Mumbai Indians captain, he can also complete 5000 runs for the franchise if he adds only 17 more runs to his tally. 

Rohit, who was initially a part of the now-defunct Deccan Chargers until 2011, was picked by Mumbai Indians in the mega auction. And as they say, the rest in history. 

Regarded as one of the finest white-ball players, the stylish Mumbai batter has led Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles since being given the leadership baton in 2013.
