Hours after Liam Livingstone's departure, another Englishman has left the ongoing Indian Premier League season. This time it's Rajasthan Royals who will miss the services of an England player as explosive batter Jos Buttler has bid adieu to the competition owing to national duty.

In a heartfelt video posted by Rajasthan Royals' official handle on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Buttler can be seen giving final greetings to his colleagues before leaving the Royals camp.

As reported earlier, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had asked the World Cup bound players to join the national setup before the all-important series against Pakistan on home soil.

The Pakistan T20Is will be a pre World Cup dress rehearsal for the defending champions as they will look to fine-tune their skills and form their ideal combination before the marquee event.

As the skipper of the side, Buttler's presence will be pivotal for the Englishmen, who would be keen to defend their title in the marquee event.

The IPL 2024 didn't witness the best of Jos Buttler, the batter, as he performed sporadically for the Royals. Barring two hundreds, Buttler couldn't showcase his consistency, recording six under-twenty scores in eleven outings.
