Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium is all set to stage the grand finale of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the home team Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday. And the most-awaited game of the tournament is just hours away from its beginning.
The game which most likely is full of twists and turns, and it could also be MS Dhoni's last dance in the league that made him Chennai's 'Thala', but he will be up against the future Indian captain, who, in terms of leadership is MSD's second-self.
What is the venue of IPL 2023 Final?
The big-bucks final will be contested at the country's biggest stadium - Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. These two teams have once at the same venue, with Gujarat getting the better of Chennai on that occasion.
The conditions at Ahmedabad have had sporting wickets across the tournament, but of late, we have seen the batters getting more advantage at the venue. However, the pitch that is to be used in the upcoming clash is going to be a fresh one.
Expected changes for GT in IPL 2023 Final
The Titans had a cruising victory over Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2, but Sai Sudharsan looked like a weak force in that power-packed lineup. Initially, he was playing a supportive role to the centurion Shubman Gill, but he couldn't change his gears after Gill's dismissal at the fag-end of the innings.
The GT management might think of switching Sudharsan with Abhinav Manohar, as the latter has finished some games brilliantly for them.
