Games are coming thick and fast in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). Thus far, all the games have been evenly poised, which has given the fans everything to cheer for. On Tuesday, David Warner's Delhi Capitals (DC) will be at loggerheads with Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

The home team will play at their home ground for the first time in this season; however, they still have to open their account on the points table. Gujarat, on the other hand, had a near-perfect game at Ahmedabad when they faced Chennai on Friday. 

All in all, the upcoming IPL clash between DC and GT has all the ingredients to be a crackerjack.

Delhi Capitals


It would be too early to judge any team, but Delhi weren't a firm unit in their opening match against Lucknow. Despite starting well with the ball, they let the game go when Kyle Mayers began to attack them, hinting at their faster bowlers' inability without the likes of Anrich Nortje. 

With the South Africans arriving after the Netherlands on Monday, there is no certainty whether Nortje will play against Gujarat, meaning they are slanted to play the same Playing XI played versus Lucknow on Saturday.


Gujarat Titans

The reigning champions had a close game against Chennai at Ahmedabad; however, top-order assault from Shubman Gill and cameos at the end from Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia stole the show for them.

However, a win over CSK gave them a headache in the form of Kane Williamson getting ruled out of the IPL 2023. With David Miller still unavailable, it seems the Australian keeper-batter Matthew Wade or Sai Sudharshan would come into the playing party for GT against Delhi.

Besides, the Hardik Pandya-led unit might bring the left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore instead of Yash Dayal, considering Delhi's spin-favouring conditions.
